30-inch wall oven cutouts compared
Two ovens sold as “30-inch” can need different openings. This table puts the makers' own cutout figures side by side.
Verify with the maker's installation instructions before you cut or buy. This page lists fit dimensions only. It is not installation guidance.

Reading the table
- Width: both makers' standard cutouts start at 28 1/2". GE allows up to 28-5/8" for both of its ovens here.
- Height: GE lists 50-1/4" minimum without the pedestal, or 51-13/16" to 51-15/16" with it. Bosch's standard range is 49 3/4" to 51 1/2". GE's with-pedestal range sits above Bosch's standard maximum. The JTS3000SNSS is a single oven, so its 27 1/4" to 27 5/16" height does not compare with the double ovens.
- Depth: GE lists 23-1/2" minimum and Bosch lists 23 1/2" for its standard cutout.
A match on paper is a starting point. The makers' installation instructions have the final figures and the rest of the requirements.
